Meet Dr. CJ Wagner

Dr. CJ Wagner, DMD
Diplomate American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Cameron “CJ” Wagner grew up here in the North Shore of Milwaukee. Dr. CJ attended Indian Hill Elementary, Maple Dale Middle School and Nicolet High School. After earning his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001, CJ spent a year touring the USA as a drummer with his college rock band. Though a truly memorable adventure, the record labels never called, so he abandoned rock star dreams and attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Magna Cum Laude in 2006.

While at Temple, Dr. Wagner organized two mission trips to Haiti. There, he and fellow students provided much needed dental care to children and adults. He also served as Class President and Student Body President.

Dr. Wagner continued his studies in Pediatric Dentistry at Northwestern University and The Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. After residency, Dr. CJ worked in private practice in the Chicago-land suburbs providing high quality pediatric dental care.  He has been honored with numerous awards for achievement in pediatric dentistry. He prides himself on providing the highest quality dental care with his trademark sense of humor and easy-going style that helps children feel at ease during their visits.

Dr. Wagner loves working with children because “they possess an endless amount of creativity and imagination. This makes everyday new and exciting!” Dr. Wagner says, “caring for children has always been an important part of my life. I find nothing more rewarding than gaining the trust and appreciation from a young patient.” Dr. CJ is committed to being an active leader and child advocate in the Milwaukee dental and medical community. Wagner Pediatric Dentistry proudly serves the communities of Milwaukee, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Glendale, Bayside, River Hills, Fox Point, Brown Deer and Mequon WI.

Dr. Wagner, a pediatric dentist in Whitefish Bay, is among the few pediatric dentists who have completed certification examinations to become an esteemed Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
